When Simon Schneitter founded The Homestead in 1886, he established a tradition of warm hospitality and friendly service. We are proud to carry on that tradition today in the newly re-opened Simon's. Sit back, relax, and enjoy authentic home-style cooking in our newly remodeled dining room. We offer classic American dishes, artfully prepared with fresh, local ingredients by Simon’s executive staff and team.
Simon’s restaurant is located just off the lobby at Homestead Resort and is rich in mountain-style ambiance. Dine in comfort near one of our two stunning fireplaces, or in any of our three seating areas, including the tearoom, perfect for a small private gathering or business meeting. Our dining room also features a beautiful turn-of-the-century, hand-carved bar. During the warmer months, feel free to dine al fresco on Simon's Patio, where you can take in breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and majestic surroundings.
Our menu includes homestyle classics and specialty grilled steaks and seafood. Try our signature dishes, such as Smoked Turkey "Pot Pie", Fried Chicken and Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding. We also offer a seasonal list of grilled seafood and steaks. Every Friday and Saturday night we serve our famous Pit Smoked Prime Rib dinner complete with Creamy Horseradish and Au Jus, House Salad or Clam Chowder, Daily Vegetable, Baked Potato, and a Pot of Bread and Butter.

Lunch: Monday - Friday 11:30 am - 2:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday 11:30 am - 5:00 pm
Dinner: Served Daily 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
